APPLICATION FOR PART A(2) PERMIT

Hanson Quarry Products Europe Ltd has applied for a permit from Northampton Borough Council to operate a road coating process that includes the combustion of recovered fuel oil at 39 Crow Lane, Great Billing, Northampton.
This application results from changes made to pollution control legislation, it does not represent a change in the normal operation of the existing plant.
A copy of the application is available for public inspection during the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, free of charge, at Cliftonville House, Bedford Road, Northampton. It would be helpful if contact is made with the Environmental Health Department on 01604 838000 prior to inspecting the application.
The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Any written comments on the application should be addressed to the Environmental Health Department, Northampton Borough Council, Cliftonville House, Bedford Road, Northampton NN4 7NR, within 28 days of the date of this advertisement. All written comments will be placed on the public register unless they include a request that this is not done. If there is such a request, the register will only include a note that representations have been made that is not on the register by request.
