4C Strategies is committed to reducing the environmental impact of delivering its services by all practical means. As such, ‘Environmental Issues’ is a mandatory agenda item at our monthly management meetings that are attended by all Directors and Principal Consultants. Practical steps we have taken to help minimise our environmental impact include: To purchase energy efficient equipment To use public transport when practical To share cars when practical To work from home if there is no specific need to travel to the office To use mobile communications and internet based conferencing applications to minimise the need to travel to clients To recruit from the local area To ensure all electrical equipment in the office is switched off at night with the exception of the server, telephone system and broadband router. To unplug mobile phone chargers when not in use To dispose of all obsolescent IT equipment via official recycling centres To return all empty laser printer cartridges to the manufacturer To dispose of all paper and cardboard via authorised recycling companies that are able to securely dispose of confidential waste
