Elan has a documented Environmental Policy (see below) that it adheres to as well as responsibilities as part of the Manpower Group to monitor and maintain its environmental policy and procedure. Elan Environmental PolicyProperty Environmental Policy1. To meet and where possible exceed all relevant Environmental and Health and Safety Legislation to ensure our offices are safe, healthy work places.2. Premises, as far as possible, to be designed to maximise energy efficiency and to reduce unnecessary emissions into the atmosphere.3. In the procurement of furniture, building materials, computers and other equipment, the energy efficiency and the source and type of materials will be taken into account.4. To adopt a policy of reusing and recycling. In refurbishment work we will use, so far as possible, environmentally friendly materials and where appropriate materials from sustainable sources.5. Contractors and Suppliers to be encouraged to adopt and operate a suitable Environmental Policy. They will provide and satisfy Manpower as part of the tendering process details of such policy and procedures as appropriate.
